Jeffrey A. Raday, P.E., President of McShane Construction Company, is pleased to announce that the firm has completed the comprehensive construction services for Greenleaf Manor, an affordable housing complex on behalf of developer, Daveri Development Group, LLC.
The new residential property is located at 3345 Sanders Road between Milwaukee Avenue and Willow Road in Glenview, Illinois, a north suburban community of Chicago.
Greenleaf Manor signifies McShane’s second construction assignment recently completed for Daveri Development Group within a 12-month period. In May 2013, McShane Construction completed Myers Place, a 39-unit permanent supportive housing development located in Mount Prospect, Illinois, for this active developer.
The property was designed and constructed to support 20 units of townhome-style residences artfully arranged in three residential buildings configured in both a two- and three-story format. The complex provides 10 two-bedroom, five three-bedroom and five four-bedroom floor plan options. Each townhome is equipped with an in-unit washer and dryer, integrated parking garage on the ground floor and contemporary, energy-efficient finishes, fixtures and appliances.
The development boasts an attractive wood frame and James Hardie® fiber cement exterior that complements the generous window lines of the townhome residences. McShane Construction also completed the sitework for the assignment including sidewalks, community garden areas and additional surface parking.
“McShane Construction is pleased to deliver its second affordable housing assignment to Daveri Development Group, LLC within a very brief time period,” remarked Raday. “We appreciate the opportunity to contribute our project team’s extensive experience in high-quality multi-family construction to meet the goals and objectives of our valued client.”
Low Income Housing Tax Credits assisted in the financing of this affordable housing development. Cordogan, Clark & Associates provided the comprehensive architectural design services while Manhard Consulting, Ltd. provided the civil engineering services for the assignment.
