McShane Construction completed a comprehensive site development project located on a 22-acre parcel in downtown Orland Park, Illinois.
Known as the Main Street Triangle, the project included the extension of Jefferson Avenue and the construction of a side street and ring road as part of a master-planned redevelopment of the downtown area. A 1.6-acre architectural concrete detention pond was created with waterfalls providing a natural habitat for native plants and animal species.
The assignment also included the construction of numerous parks including Crescent Park that features a wooden arbor that can serve as a band shell to host summer concerts and other community events. McShane also completed several parking areas, street lighting and underground utilities.
