Jeffrey A. Raday, PE, President of McShane Construction Company, is pleased to announce that the firm has completed the comprehensive design/build construction services for Hayward 92 Industrial Center. The 236,976-square-foot build-to-suit distribution facility was built for a Fortune 50 company in Hayward, California.
The infill industrial facility is located on 31.5 acres, and the building features a 32′ clear height, 61 dock doors, seven drive-in doors, 125′ truck court, generous 52′ x 50′ column spacing with a 60′ speed bay, 3,000 amp electrical service and an ESFR sprinkler system.
The development also includes a 1,500-square-foot security building at the entrance of the property and a 5,340-square-foot office component that encompasses several private offices, meeting rooms and safety training area. The building interior is fully-automated and features a sophisticated conveyor system to enhance productivity and facilitate efficient operations.
The building is a LEED-Certified fully-automated industrial facility, the development includes sustainable elements such as ample skylights which provide a cost saving and energy efficient operating solution.
