McShane Construction Company is underway with the new 134-unit 1100 Apex luxury multi-family development for repeat client, GSP Development. The project is underway on a 2.1-acre site at 1100 Cleveland Street in downtown Clearwater, Florida.
Originally constructed as an office tower in the 1970s and vacant since 2009, the abandoned 15-story cast-in-place concrete structure is being redeveloped into 134 high-end apartment residences featuring an array of best-in-class amenities and a two-story structured parking deck accommodating 202 vehicles.
1100 Apex will feature a stucco exterior on the tower and surrounding two-story storefront structures, which will include 4,300 square feet of retail space available for lease. Apartment units will consist of two-story townhomes in addition to single-story residential floor plans.
The redevelopment will include several amenities including a resort-style pool and deck, an outdoor kitchen area, private dining and club rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness center, golf simulator, bike storage and a dog washing station, among many others.
