McShane Construction Company was selected to provide the construction services for Merrillville Memory Care, a 50-bed housing residence. The 33,760-square-foot, single-story complex is located in Merrillville, Indiana.

The complex utilized wood frame construction and features a blend of attractive exterior finishes including fiber-cement siding, masonry, and manufactured stone veneer accents.

The residence incorporates 48 units and offers common areas including a living room, a dining area with a full-service kitchen, an activity center, a relaxation room, a spa and a salon. Two nursing stations located within both of the residential wings were also completed.

All sitework for the assignment was completed by McShane including landscaping and an on-site paved parking lot for 37 vehicles.
